fallen apples!

Some pics from today :0)

Some stitch cards.
My pea pod green airer all ready for the shop - to hang my handprinted wrapping paper & gift tags on.
Handmade wooden table tops made by the hubby for the shop & art room. I just love 'em!

The lawn is covered with fallen apples :0( So a big ladder was borrowed from our next door neighbours to pick the fat juicy apples from the higher branches.
However, even with the tallest of ladders it was impossible to reach them! So sticks were thrown up into the tree to knock the apples free & surprisingly it worked!
It reminded me of those scary apple trees in The Wizard of OZ but luckily our apple tree didn't throw apples at us for picking it's fruit ;0)

'C' cards!

This morning Mr. Postman delivered to my door a parcel of cards & red envelopes which means the 'C' card factory is now in operation ;0)

a grand day out!

A blue sky day out to Powis Castle :0)

Fabulous gardens & views.

I love going out & visiting the National Trust castles & houses but it's always the gardens I look forward to roaming around the most ;0)
The gardens at Powis Castle didn't let me down! So many pretty flowers & plants to see with the odd secret snug to sit & hide in along the way; amongst the old yew trees.
I fell in love with the yew trees there, they are so old that they are so huge & tall & big & round & bobble shaped :0) can't see me I'm hiding in a secret snug! hee!

Hope you all enjoyed a blue sky day today!

T'is getting closer to the season to be jolly!

Uh-oh Christmas songs are stuck in my head already! Far, far too early I know to be singing, humming & whistling 'Let it Snow' !!
Everytime I hear myself sing out loud I have to remind myself that it's actually October & NOT December yet! But I can't help it as I'm making Crimbo cards at the mo plus everywhere I've been lately shelves are stacked from floor to ceiling with Christmassy gifts. Eek! I mean I love Xmas time but I'm not quite ready - Lots to do!!
