new finds

the sun was out today which was a good excuse to go off exploring.
we went for a trundle over to hay-on-wye then took a little de-tour on the way home & found a great place to stop off for a brew & a slice of cakey :0)

on the outskirts of builth wells is erwood station, an old railway carriage cafe & gallery set in beautiful countryside right by the river wye.
there's a great selection of arts & crafts made by artists dotted all over wales.

this necklace made by alejandra bernales really caught my eye & i couldn't resist :)
alejandra is a potter & also makes beautiful, delicate porcelain, clay & stoneware jewellery.
after viewing her blog i've seen more 'must haves' already!

there are so many wonderful, inspiring work to see at erwood with demonstations starting up in the next couple of weeks, running throughout july stretching to september time.
